The Nikon name guarantees optical quality, but this loupe is surprisingly smaller than most on the market. Also, if you order direct from Japan, like me, you avoid almost 100% markup from US retailers. The wait for delivery was worth it. I bought this magnifier for a whopping $51. Many US retailers sell it for over $98.

I purchased this product and did not like the size of the glass. The image appeared to be fairly sharp, but given the diameter of the glass, it was a little taxing on my eyes. Either there was a problem focusing the glass, or the glass was too small to focus on the object under magnification. Having said that, I would recommend another brand that is also sold at Revain but is not as expensive. I ended up returning this item to Revane.

Pretty decent product, quality lens and I really like the loupe case. Nice and clear picture, no chromatic aberration.
