Nikon Mirrorless Digital 10 30Mm PD ZOOM Review

Probably a decent camera for most applications/users. Here's the reason for the mediocre rating: We bought this to replace a broken Nikon 1 J1 camera whose standout feature is 400fps video. J5 does the same but only for 3 seconds (J1 did 5 seconds). If you're using 400 fps for forensics (we use it for impact testing) with a manual trigger, 3 seconds can be pretty short for your movie. Aside from 400fps video, this is a fairly unremarkable camera; we returned it.

I got it from Nikon 1 J3 few years. I like the new extras, although 15 fps at 4K resolution is not enough. For those familiar with the specs, this camera is particularly good for its size. The only downside is that the standard battery will accidentally overheat during video recording (which is my main use of this camera), causing the camera to shut down after the sensors trigger this hazard.
