I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

Has some pros: sharp, autofocus is fast and quiet, of course, the wide angle is very pleasing, do not think about F2.8, because you will still clamp the aperture to 5.6! Has cons: It dust (for this I put 4 stars), but this is theoretical! I'm clean so far! I do not advise you to shoot in moisture, dust and other aggressive conditions!

The product is completely satisfied, performs its functions.

For a long time I compared 10-24 [China assembly] with a gold ring 12-24 [Japan assembly]. The difference in the picture is minimal, at a price 1,5 times lower than that of 12-24mm. Nikon has another alternative on a crop with an angle of 109 degrees simply no. Its pros: Sharp, small, light. Excellent color reproduction, focal range. Very moderately chromate compared to sigma and tokins. Nimble and accurate focus. Very good for landscapes and architecture. Has some cons High cost. Lack of…

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

If your budget allows, take it. The most valuable thing in it is its versatility. At the same time, workers are both 10mm and 24mm. I heard a lot of good things about Tokina 11-16mm - but it is practically a fix. Now I understand for sure that 16-24mm would be very lacking if I bought Tokina. Pros below: + Large coverage of focal lengths 10-24mm - Ie. suitable for both the needs of a very specific shooting at a super wide angle, and for shooting people if necessary. + Perfectly holds…

This is the worst lens I've used since the 70's!

Please don't make the mistake I just made and buy this lens. I'm not sure if it's fake but it's terrible. I love Nikon and use all Nikkor lenses. I might be expecting too much but for the money I would expect it to be better than a $200 lens. I took a lot of shots with and without a tripod, with and without autofocus. And shot the exact same shots with several other Nikkor lenses I have; less than $400. All took much better photos, as Nikon lenses should. I couldn't find a single focus point on

Great wide angle lens for DX cameras

I recently bought this lens to fit my Nikon D5100 16.2MP CMOS Nikkor Zoom 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DSLR AF-S DX To put VR and see if I might want that lens or the Tokina AT-X116PRDXN AT-X PRO DX 11-16mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens for Nikon. I'll start by saying both lenses are great and I haven't had any image quality issues with either. I'm not a big photographer or gear reviewer, but I'll talk about what I liked and didn't like about each lens, which led me to decide which ones to keep. is that the…

Pros
  • electronics
Cons
  • boring packaging

This lens is capable of producing ultra clear images right to the edges. The distortion at the edges isn't bad at all and is quite corrected programmatically. The correction for optical aberrations (OVERALL) is more than sufficient (really world class). The outer case design is made of plastic; probably a suitable variety that has durable characteristics for normal use of this lens (if you want solid metal then pay 2-3 times more and more than double the weight). During use, great care must be…

Pros
  • Camera lenses
Cons
  • So far, so good

It gives great opportunities when shooting landscapes, as well as indoors. Compared with Takina 11-16, it is almost impossible to distinguish in clarity, but for myself I preferred the focal range to a larger aperture. Tokin is almost like a fix, but this one can not be changed for a long time. in practice with such a focal length, with an open hole, it is extremely rare to shoot, and to shoot unnecessarily at 16 if if the plot allows 20 is undesirable. This is where he comes to the rescue.

Pros
  • Very good focal range, good resolution and detail
Cons
  • Until it is discovered, the distortion at the wide end is tolerable, at the wide end it does not happen without them.

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

4 copies of this lens passed through my hands. I exchanged 1 copy in the store after 3 days due to strange jamming and jerking when zooming, which was accompanied by a creak and clicks. 2nd copy was the best. Stolen 2 weeks after purchase. In the 3rd instance, for no apparent reason, after 2 months a very strong backlash of the lens block appeared in the body. It deviated by 3-4 mm exactly, which was accompanied by knocks and a shift in the image. After sending the lens to the Nikon SC (I must…

Pros
  • + Crazy viewing angle + Good color rendering + Relatively compact dimensions + Fast and quiet AF + Straight lines do not bend + Best wide angle lens for DX camera + An indispensable tool for creating spectacular panoramas
Cons
  • - Weak design - High probability of getting a bad copy - Soaps the edges of pictures at a FR of 10-12 mm and an aperture value less than f / 5.6 - Pretty heavy - Inaccurate AF - Doesn't work well in low light conditions

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I have been using this lens (paired with the D7100) for more than a year for landscape and interior photography. AF is not ideal, but there are no problems with it; the darker the surroundings when shooting, the longer it can focus, but there is nothing terrible about it, lightning-fast AF is the prerogative of top lenses, and even then not all. Well, let's move on to the most important "minus" - the price. Now (09202222) ~ 60-65 thousand, and 12-24 mm 4G ~ 75 thousand. The question arises: is

Pros
  • Excellent optical quality for a non-top lens and not even from the "professional" series, although it gives it out at f = 5.6-8.0, but the "hole" can be opened and the decrease in sharpness will be minimal, the main thing is to correctly determine the depth of field and there are no problems; lens size.
Cons
  • Price, lens design, there is a "vacuum cleaner" effect. Optically, the lens has no serious flaws, the little things include: distortion by 10 mm (starting from 14 and up to 24 mm, the distortion is minimal); low sharpness at the edges of the frame by 10 mm at f=3.5 (It is worth tightening the aperture and everything is OK); XA on the entire range (here we shoot in NEF and there are no special problems); light filters, alas, are suitable only with a thin frame, since another will give vignetting by 10-12mm, that's all.
