D5 has its own niche and it's excellent!

The Niche D5 is a real sport, capturing moving subjects in low light. High frame rates, an insane ISO range, and the ability to track and auto-focus on moving targets are second to none. The original ISO is 100-102400, although I've never shot above 12000. You will see artifacts around 25000. If you record sports or news, this is not the best option! Nature photography or portrait photography, save some money and get the D850 thanks to its much higher resolution, which allows you to produce…

Fantastic (semi) professional camera.

This is an amazing camera. I have had several Nikon cameras over the years. No wonder it's the best I've had so far. Built like a Rolls-Royce with rugged, weatherproof construction. It's rock solid for outdoor use. This is a heavy camera so make sure it's full body weight if you travel a lot. Very good focusing performance, large dynamic range and very high speed. 4K videos are great for action scenes. I have to admit that I haven't used the video function much yet, but the 20MP recordings are…

Incredible and spicy!

In low light conditions and moving subjects, this tool is designed to capture consistently crisp and sharp images. With the D3 I learned how to use the center focus point to capture the "perfect moment" during the action - sometimes it was "spray and pray" hoping the right moment was captured. On the D5, I find group autofocus the most useful. It uses a 5-point diamond pattern to track the subject; They work together to keep focus as a single point and avoid misfocusing on the background. 3D…

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!

I am a professional photographer and I have or have had several other Nikon FF cameras including D4, D810. D750 and D700. I use these cameras for work; You pay my bills. So many trick functions are wasted on me. I want hulls that do their job, do well and not let me down. D5 is not D4. It's not the same with multiple settings. Just a few days of possession are enough to verify this fact. This statement contains both positive and negative sides, which I will try to outline here. As the weeks and

Magic, just magic.: Camera and photo

Some people will give this camera an excellent rating because this is their first truly professional camera, but believe me it's good for those of us who used to own professional organizations. I've been shooting professionally since 2004. I had 1Ds, 1Ds-II, 1Ds-III, D3, D3s, D810, others. So I'm not impressed just because it's a professional case. However, I liked the Nikon D3s so much that I used (and still own) them from 2009 to 2017, which isn't to say I'm just a gear freak. I can't compare
