Plastic/rubber pads keep slipping

Plastic/rubber pads keep slipping. this is a huge pain. I won't touch any conductive material when connected to power supplies They work and hold up well except when you connect and disconnect terminals, which is why I went with terminals, not just wires.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • No automatic

great for testing and charging

They are great for low voltage testing as you can see above. They have a strong spring and good conductivity. I also use the larger ones from the kit to charge my 12v dry cell battery for my ATV, motorcycle, RV etc. Haven't used the higher voltage yet but I'm sure they will work just as well. I'll post a photo when I get a chance to use them.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some problems

all small claws.

I'll do it myself man. Use these clips to make adapters, testers, and more. It was worth it. Shelf life should last a lifetime if stored properly. many if. I have made 3 projects and am happy to add 15 more things if I need them. just great to have if nothing else. now that i think It's easy to use just crimp wires. or if you know how to solder. easy to use right out of the box

Pros
  • Still satisfied

Not very good but good enough

Just got this in the mail. I bought them for small projects that I seem to do here and there. They are functional but the build quality is not the best. Although I would say I think they will work and do what I need. So in summary I think they're good enough to work in most cases and I also think they're very good value for the price I paid. However, if you're buying them with the intention of getting a high quality, durable product that will see widespread use, you might want to move on. Soโ€ฆ

Slip off clips are good for industrial electronics

They work, that's all I can say. When I squeeze the alligator clips, the clip slips out of the rubber boot. There is only one set of crimps and I think they are for insulation around the wire. There is no crimp for the wire itself so I assume they are for soldering. I tried using a bare wire crimp and had to carefully wrap each crimp around the wire with pliers before crimping it. When using one of the terminals, the wire slipped out of the crimp. Plan to solder the bare ends and use a crimp on

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Functionality

Good price and solid product.

Seems to be working fine so far. They are good quality and I haven't had any problems with the ones I've used. I have used small alligator clips soldered to wires connected to 18650 batteries for various toys and projects. (Do this at your own risk. I do not advise anyone to solder or play with them. Lithium ion batteries! Many try at home.) My picture shows only one of each type, but rest assured you will be red and get black colors . any size. The only thing I would change is the plastic lids

Pros
  • good thing

Great price as advertised! (Make sure you can use the extras!)

So I gave it a 5 across the board because it's exactly what I needed and it seemed/was a great value- to be for money, so I don't regret it. Alligator clips required! Not many, but some. But when I see a 10-pack of the same (which would be honestly enough, lol) for $6, or a 60-pack for $9 that comes in different sizes and types, I've obviously decided to go down that route. And it's still a lot, but the size difference is small, and there are really only 2 types. If I was on a budget I mightโ€ฆ

Clip review alligator. Strong feathers!

Overview of Alligator Clips I've used them to make test leads and current jumpers. in teeth making it difficult to hold tiny wires. Solder these. I had no problems with it, but I felt some sediment and dripped it with flux. I had a lot of slag on the iron and on the solder so I know it helped. The ones with screws. Some of the screws were snapped off and they didn't have the little tabs, I wouldn't try to squash them to the metal on that end, it's pretty flimsy. I'm not sure what size theyโ€ฆ
