The base that screws onto the pitcher's bottom that has the blades attached to it has a seal that you cannot reach and from all the protein smoothies I make it is starting to smell. I've tried placing it in the dishwasher, soaking it in baking soda and it doesn't help. Also tried vinegar and Dawn but it won't come clean. I've used Qtips and that helps a bit but it still smells. Can't get deep enough, I guess. I called Ninja support, and they suggested what I've already tried. No help at all…

I found this blender to be excessively loud and almost grating in its sound. None of the presets, not even Extract, ever fully broke down all parts of my green smoothie. A small amount of greens kept sticking to the blades and it didn’t really pulverize seeds as much as I was expecting. I’m returning this and going back to Nutribullet for great extraction.

We’ve had it a few months and use it fairly often for smoothies, blended drinks, sauces, etc. So far it works great and blends quickly, easy to clean, with simple settings.

I have gastroparesis so the only thing that sits well with me are smoothie type foods and liquid. I put some honey roasted peanuts in it and frozen coconut and it blended very well! The other blender I had had some dull blades and gave off a funny smell.I especially like the smaller cups, when I’m finished a smoothie I just rinse it out and air dry. It’s wonderful

This blender is insanely loud and also did not do well in the dishwasher. The entire pitcher warped and was unusable after a few months. So unfortunate…. it did a good job blending.

1600 rpm motor blasts through everything that I have thrown at it. It emulsifies without the dangers of a device like the Nutribullet. I loved all of my bullets and the fact that In went through 3 of them in 6 years is proof enough that they work and they wear out easily. I can not speak to the durability of this produce yet, but I do have another Ninja product over 1 1/2 years old and is still as great as the day I bought it. This thing is bad ass!
