Broke pretty quickly

When I first got the camera it made a rattling noise like something was dangling and just rolling around but everything seemed to work fine. But halfway through the first roll, the shutter stopped working. I'll try to fix that later, but most people will probably find it useless. I also have an n8000 and had no problems with it. If you are looking to buy a Nishika camera I would definitely choose the n8000 over the n9000.

the film is not progressing, money is wasted

i had high hopes for this camera. After reading many reviews on it and the N8000 I found the N9000 sounded better and looked better. I have experience with film cameras, I use the Diana Mini, which is just as non-technical. Well, I just can't play the movie. Also, the rewind lever was broken when I took it out of the box. I had to ask the shop to rewind the film in the darkroom. The first return was a disaster. Even though the camera rolled up and the counter advanced, the film itself didn't…

It's not as easy as it looks

Of course it's cheap. Buying and developing your first roll of film will likely cost more than this camera. That doesn't mean it stays cheap. You will spend a lot of money if you want to learn how to use this camera properly. I bought it for the .gif. If you search "Nishika" on Tumblr, you'll find a lot of cool animated gifs where the frames flow back and forth, resulting in a frame that resembles the signature moments from The Matrix, except you can see that Keanu bullets dodges people with…

  • There's something to it
