After I put it to the test, these valve stem caps failed miserably. They were incredibly difficult to install and after a few uses, they began to crack and fall apart. The only positive aspect was their sleek design. However, the cons far outweighed this small benefit. I would not recommend these caps for any automotive application.

I have two sets of wheels and tires; Summer and winter. Winter wheels are optional labs with regular shredder valves. The valve covers I used to have were aluminum with colors to match the car. cool cool right? Not correct! The valve cover corrodes in the winter and sticks to the darn shredder valve and you have to get the damn thing out with pliers. Enough of this stretching and twisting and sooner or later the damn thing will break down. Also, when winter comes and the temperature drops to 20

For $0.08 a cap there is nothing to complain about I see. They fit the valve stems on my wife's Civic, which didn't have caps, and seem to put on well without cracking or slipping. Also, I have a lot of money left over in case my car's wheels or hubcaps ever go missing. Although it would be nice if it had a cheap plastic jar instead of a plastic bag, it does fit on a storage hook.
