The Real Deal: Anti-Theft

Great and Legal. This easily saves $100. No joke. The only problem I had was finding someone to program it. Batteries Plus didn't do it, they said they were afraid they would ruin both of my key fobs and they would have to tow my car to the dealer. So I gave it to the guy who had the best reviews in town. It was THE guy. He asked me what year my car was (2017) and he said no. I think Nissan has made it so complicated that you should refer to it. The other reviewers here must have gotten lucky…

Pros
  • 100% Satisfaction Guarantee or Money Back Guarantee
Cons
  • Mostly Good, But...

Just like the ones I got from the Nissan dealer.

It was a great purchase. I bought this to replace my 2014 Nissan Sentra key fob that was water damaged. I wasn't entirely sure as it had mixed reviews but I ordered it anyway. I got it on time and took it to the battery shop straight away and they programmed it with no problems. I have also made sure that my old key fob matches the number listed but once I no longer have the old one this becomes difficult. Looks and works just as good as the ones I got from the dealer with my car.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Worked great on a 2014 Nissan Leaf

My dog literally ate my car keys and destroyed them. Retail price was over $200. I ordered this key and had it programmed locally by a reputable locksmith. Programming took about 15 minutes and cost $85. This involved duplicating the metal key to match the original. In some places a little further away from me, programming costs as little as $60. Anyway, I saved a lot of money by buying this key and programming it privately. I'm very glad it's available so we're not fooled by retail prices.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works quite well! Don't Pay Dealer

Dealer charged me $203 for the key fob and $17 for the metal key, $145 for programming plus tax. I saw that this part matched my part IDs so I bought it for 59 plus tax and the dealer programmed it with no problems. I could probably go to the local shop to program the key and save some more, but I was only happy to save over Β£150 on the part itself. I still have to go to the home store or hardware store to duplicate the metal key. And yes, this product was a blank metal key AND a keychain…

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Negative Experience
