Does what it says on the tin. The great thing is that it stays on the cord so you don't lose it. That's why I prefer them to those that don't have a loop. Tip: You do NOT have to put it on the plug if it doesn't fit. Just put it around you and slide the tie through the elastic part. Bought these in July 2018 and 2 out of 4 have broken with minimal use. I bought a pack of these from Home Depot a few years ago and still have them. The cables were longer and they still work well. I took them to tame the mass of cords and wires around the bedside table. Those headphones and phone cords are out of control. They work really well but aren't very flexible - when I bend them they just fold in half and the tail sticks out and then snags on other things. I hope they can soften a little with a little use. I keep multiple USB cables in my tablet bag and was looking for a way to organize things. One of them is 6ft long and is a braided type so he has his own opinion.
