🔒 Nite Ize SlideLock Stainless Steel Carabiner Review

I just replaced an old truck with a new Ranger and my wife replaced her old Escape with a new one. I like cars, keychains - not so much. They are huge. Couldn't carry mine in pocket, tried hanging them from the belt loop but they were inconvenient when buckled while driving. This device allows me to put my truck key fob and house key in my watch pocket by attaching them to my belt loop. PERFECT. I have 2 of these, 1 for each car.

I was thinking of replacing it with another carabiner but the ones I had were too heavy. That works great. I just put the old (bigger) key ring on the new one. Now the clip and key are always with you. The locking mechanism is a bit counterintuitive since you're sliding it down instead of up, but it's easy to get used to. Now I do it automatically. A slightly longer ponytail pairs well with cargo shorts.

I have been using the carabiner and jewelry combo for years. I love being able to clip my keys to a loop on my belt or a metal loop in my purse so I never have to search for my keys. I recently bought this carabiner and keyring combo as I needed it for my second set of keys. I was intrigued by the carabiner as it was advertised as a "lockable" carabiner. I've had carabiners in the past that were inferior and didn't last long. This is a good carabiner and it REALLY closes. My real issue with the
