My husband has this set up outside his home office and uses it to let us know when he's in a meeting and doesn't want to be disturbed. It's really bright (I can see the glow from below) but never gets hot, it's lightweight and easy to hang. Previous reviews have said it has no plug and needs to be hardwired. The brake light came with a 40" plug for a socket with an on/off switch 20" from the plug. The toggle switch toggles between Red Only / Yellow Only / Green Only / All On when turning on and off. This light is exactly what we were looking for. It might be too bright, but it works great. The kit includes a remote control with 4 buttons - 1 to turn on/off the red indicator, 1 to turn on/off the yellow indicator and one to turn on/off the green indicator. Then another to toggle everything on or off. You can turn on individual bulbs, 2 or all 3 if you like. One downside that some users won't like is that it has to be hardwired to the electrical system.
