I've been using Nieva's non-cooling aftershave balm for sensitive skin for many years so I decided to try this new cooling balm. They seem to have changed the formula as it's a little more liquid than the non-refrigerated version. But it smells more pleasant, a mild to medium "male scent", that's how I can describe it. I actually use it as a makeup base but my boyfriend also likes to use it after shaving. Perfect for sensitive skin or if you just want something light and soft. For those who use it as a primer, it has a slight odor after shaving, but it fades fairly quickly. Great product and I save so much money by not buying a traditional makeup primer.

Excellent product! The feeling of coolness is not felt immediately after application, a great feeling of coolness occurs about a minute or two after application. The aroma is not sharp either, but very subtle. I don't have sensitive skin so I can't judge that aspect but I think it would be good for sensitive skin also because of the light scent and non-greasy application. A little is enough, it doesn't have to be used a lot.

This product represents excellent value for money. I have used the product to treat razor burn and I have used it daily after shaving. Worked well but was very expensive. It also burned when applied after shaving. This product works very well, doesn't sting when applied, has a pleasant, subtle scent, and moisturizes your skin, all at a very reasonable price. I couldn't recommend it more for aftershave and daily moisturizing on regularly shaved areas. Very important.

I read in a women's magazine the advice to use this product as a makeup base instead of the expensive product I have have used. That works great. It has a strong odor when applied but fades quickly. My face feels good and my makeup is perfect. Will keep buying it.
