🔧 Mechanic Grain Piece Leather - Scratch Resistant Review

The first belt was too small. I wear 33-wat jeans and tried the small version (32 inch) but it was too small. So took 34 inches and it fits fine. It's a fine belt, but it's made of rather stiff leather. Nothing soft there. The clasp has very sharp edges. I had to take a file to knock it down a bit, it was so sharp and hard. I like it too, but if it doesn't soften up I'll look for a cloth/fabric belt without a buckle.

The belt is well made and durable but the sizing chart is inaccurate. My husband wears a size 34-36 belt and that's what I have in this belt. He couldn't catch it - too small. We gifted it to a friend who has a 32" waist and it fits him perfectly. I ordered the next size up which is listed on the website as 34-40 which I think is a typo - it should say 38-40 and this belt fits. My husband is great.

Convenient. My husband is allergic to metal and other straps left him with a rash. As long as there is no rash. And he likes it, so that's a plus. I had to go up a size as it's a little short at the holes. He just did too much.

This belt is exactly what I was looking for. I like the 2 prongs on the buckle. and cancelled. I wear work trousers with a waist size of 36 and the large belt fits perfectly. My belt has a buckle in the middle of the hole. My only complaint would be that the buckle prongs can be a little long for some. I wear Dickies work pants with a tucked in shirt and t-shirt so I don't notice, but I could see if you wear it with lighter clothing it might stand out. I highly recommend this belt.

Many belts that claim to be "genuine leather" either aren't or are "genuine" leather of some sort artificial core. It is a SOLID solid piece of full grain leather. So, in other words, what do you want from a belt. Really good product!

I am impressed with the quality of the product. My only problem is the rough manufacture of the belt hooks, it would be better if the hooks were made of a smoother metal to avoid possible injury.

It fits nicely under my leather duty belt and stays in place all day and the buckle doesn't protrude over my uniform like a garrison belt. good buy

I bought this when I was learning to play the guitar and wanted to avoid that horrible rash. I love the fact that the belt is so discreet it works just as well on short cargos as it does on pants. I think that now I can only buy this type of belt. I see that the company offers this with velcro as well, but I don't use velcro because I have animals and their fur and all sorts of lint that gets caught in the hooks.
