Made my sub irrelevant

My subwoofer is 3 feet from my rack where my turntable sits. The factory rubber feet returned so much energy from the woofer to the needle that it resonated. These isolation stands took feedback right out of the equation! Fiction! Now I can turn up the volume! My setup is pretty simple: Fluance RT81 with these struts that only use 3 springs each.

No more bass from my turntable!

I have fluance rt85. I spent a fair chunk of change on it and it sounds amazing. I have a Klipsch sub which is a beast and gives -20dB of feedback in volume. It's quite loud, but sometimes you want more. I just did a test with a needle on a plate. I turned the volume up to 0dB (I would never play that loud and without feedback! Great product!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Quality product - looks good - insulates my turntable very well

I used a different insulating product with a turntable platform. If I tapped anywhere on the sound stand, the record player pickup would pick it up - a very loud noise. With this product I can rap anywhere on a speaker stand - without switching to a pickup. Outstanding build quality at a great price. Looks good too.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely made they are. For my platter vibration solution I used all 4 feet and 3 springs per unit holding both the platter and the 1" acrylic platter with about 30% compression. This eliminated the noise entering the cartridge and solved the problem better than any other solution I've tried (and there have been many). Also, they look great when you're low enough to see them :-)

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not everything fits

The springs DO NOT fit the holes

The first set I received from Revain did not have the springs in the holes. I then emailed the seller and they said it was a manufacturing defect and they would send me another set free of charge. what they did However, the new kit has the same problem, its springs don't fit in the holes. This means that the product is currently unusable. During my subsequent communication with the seller they said they would stop selling until then. They made sure all batches were checked for this…

The best possible improvement you can make to your speakers.

Incredible Value! I ordered two sets of these for my speakers and the sonic transformation was wonderful and I was very skeptical. I used to be very happy with my system, but it's gotten better, and not by a bit. The bass is tighter, the mids are punchier, and I hear treble detail I've never heard before. Do not be shy. Buy a set and hear for yourself. Just be sure to adjust the number of springs so that the two washers compress halfway under the weight of the speakers for best results.

These things work! - Accessories and accessories

I have insulating feet that cost 5 times the price of this product and work no better. I use 4 springs with a base that weighs about 30 pounds. When you tap the surface on which the TT is standing with a small hammer at full volume, no damping is perceptible. I'm not interested in what the toolkit might see. just worried about what i hear. Out of curiosity, I tried them under a powerful subwoofer and the change in output was amazing; A lot of energy was lost through the ground. Really good…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Be careful when handling or moving the device.

I have not done isolation tests but having just received them it should be noted that these are totally free builds. I mean, you literally stick seven little springs between two pieces of aluminum. They are not connected in any way, so if there is an unforeseen movement, they will fall apart immediately, leaving you and possibly your pets in search of feathers. Is it possible? Depends on your situation. Households with children, pets, or systems that are constantly changing and evolving…

They work fine!

My player is admittedly installed in a bad place. Unfortunately, my living room is not suitable for placing audio devices properly. My turntable is in a cheap entertainment center, flanked by several floor-standing speakers and a center channel. Also, it's right in front of my SVS subwoofer. The max volume on my AVR is 70. When I play records out loud, which is the only way, at around 53 the bass and vibration of everything starts jumping through the arm and giving terrible feedback. With their

Excellent isolation with a heavy base

I have a VPI Aries Scout that requires the user to provide their own isolation pad. I use a 1" thick piece of Silestone kitchen countertop as the heavy weight. The turntable and Silestone base together weigh at least 75 pounds. See image. When I saw Nobsound legs with springs I decided to give them a try, especially considering the price. They dampen the vibrations of the housing on which the turntable rests. Now I can tap on the top of the recorder and hear nothing even with the volume turned…
