Description of Noctua NF F12 IPPC 3000 PWM Computer Components

NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 provides a significant performance boost over the 1500rpm retail version. Combined w/ the industrialPPC series' robust polyamide construction & adv. protection features makes the fan ideal for challenging industrial applications. Noctuid's industrialPPC fans feature a three-phase design with 6 slots, which provides smoother transitions between the slots and thus allows for even higher running smoothness, further reduced vibrations and unprecedented energy efficiency. While the standard NF-F12 is one of the most energy efficient 1500rpm 120mm fans on the market, the industrialPPC version's three-phase motor provides a further 10% reduction in power consumption when compared at 2000rpm. Both the impeller & the frame of Noctuid's industrialPPC fans r made entirely fr fiber-glass reinforced polyamide that can withstand temp. The motor & PCB of the IP67 version are completely cast in a special, highly heat conductive resin that combines thoroughgoing protection & effective motor heat dissipation.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I put two such fans at the output in series, one after the other, tightening them with M4 screws. The head had to be ground down to a diameter of 5.6 mm, and a groove was made in the nut on one side so that it would also not be removed into the stiffener. The screw was cut to the minimum length, so that it was enough for the thickness of the fan ears and the nut - otherwise the screw would not fit between the ears. I left shock-absorbing rubber pads on each fan only on one side, on the exit…

Pros
  • rev range, airflow equalizers

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I'm thinking of getting more I put both on blowing from above, it holds perfectly with two screws. I didn’t go to four because it’s hard to go through the thread for the first time

Pros
  • If you need power, then it's here. With two such turntables in the case, the temperature dropped immediately by 10 degrees and this is one third of the full power! At full, everything is 15-17 degrees lower. Speed control works. Set the job profiles as you wish. Rattle, vibration? No, have not heard. Magnetic ones. Expensive, efficient. For those who are not looking for compromises
Cons
  • It was hard to screw in, since there was no thread, in fact I cut it myself by first screwing it in.

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

I got a whole collection of coolers and decided to experiment with my CBO. Both productivity and silence were important. With four fans, I achieved a rather noisy I7 3770 k 4400 MHz system. At a meter from the computer, the noise level was 39-42 dB. But when he saw this miracle, he could not resist and immediately bought 2 pieces)). I was preparing myself for the worst, but then I realized that even with these coolers you can achieve a more or less normal noise level for me - 1880RPM on both…

Pros
  • 1. Powerful, at full speed of 3000 RPM, it lowers the temperature on the CBO by 5-6 degrees better than regular coolers operating at a maximum of 1600-1700RPM (although the noise at such speeds is strong here and there) 2. It seems to be reliable, but only time will tell. 3. It cools well at 60% rpm (I have at least 60% on my motherboard, I don’t set less) with a relatively accommodating noise level at 1880 RPM (see comment) 4. Having installed two coolers, I added + 300 MHz to overclocking at 60% of the revolutions, it was I7 3770K 4400 MHz - it became 4700 MHz, while the temperature increased slightly and finally stress tests were passed in OCCT.
Cons
  • 1. I didn’t really like the rubber bands on the sides, although they do their job, but at the same time they could think over the design better, such as in the same NOISEBLOCKER eLoop B12-P. Because of these rubber bands, when screwing the CBO and this fan on the back of the case, the standard screws are enough for a butt. 2. Noise? Yes, noisy, but it's all stated in the description.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

If you correctly adjust the curve of revolutions from temperature, then it will sound quite inaudible to yourself. The fan is clearly not for home use, as Industrial. Rather, for a server room or for a place where noise does not matter. But at the same time, if you need to pull all the air out of the case with one fan and without compromise, then it will do just fine.

Pros
  • Powerful flow at high speeds, blowing for four.
Cons
  • At high speeds it sounds like a washer dryer.
