Fine, better than a clean desk, but definitely not slip-resistant. I still have to put my typewriter in front of me after typing 4 lines. And yes, I tried it on 5 different machines and different surfaces. It has to be thicker or grippier to be better. Especially for the price.

Fragile and cheap flimsy material. Particles of fabric and pad leave a mess. It's better to buy a good quality rubber mat of your choice and trim it to make some typewriter pads.

This product deserves many more reviews. Desk pads are hard to find these days and a lot of the people who sell them are literally just selling a piece of crappy felt that doesn't do much good. This pad is nice and thick and also holds well on the underside. So if you use a typewriter with rubber feet that are no longer holding well, this pad will help you a lot.
