I usually don't like ordering shoes without trying them on. Other garments can have a whole range of size compromises. But shoes? You must be top notch. These shoes are comfortable and just *slightly* larger than what I normally wear. The simple solution is a pair of thicker socks and that's it. I wear 9.5 shoes and I ordered these and they fit perfectly. I have a high arch so many loafers are too tight and cause pain in the talus. These shoes have some elastic on the sides so they stretch slightly to accommodate my high arches. They have adequate cushioning on the sole of the foot and comfortably hug the sides of the foot.
