What about melted plastic in your food? Delicious!

This is my AM least favorite spatula! When it arrived it looked great. The plastic doesn't come off. I used it ONCE just to flip the pancakes and it couldn't take the heat of the pan scraping against to flip the pancakes. I have a normal household stove with a small flame. I don't have a thermometer to check my pan's surface temperature, but I'm sure it wasn't exceptionally hot.

It melts too easily. Do not buy

So, after 3 uses with little visible wear, I used it because I cooked the pork steak almost dry. I cannot recommend this cookware. It's 80 percent okay, but 20 percent a rotten mess. The plastic melted when used to lift a nice and slightly charred piece of meat. There are high temperature food grade plastics out there, I wish they would use them. As it is, it's not "my favorite spatula". Update: Went to arrange a refund. Less than 30 days yet. But Revane rejects the attempt as "unreturnable".

Great product / terrible customer service

First of all this is a great little spatula. Just the right size. It will become your indispensable helper, especially if you like using non-stick pans that can be scratched by metal utensils. However, in the first week of December I ordered a set of three of these spatulas. and although they were originally promised well before Christmas, the order was "delayed" several times and they were too late to serve as spares. Damn. When it turned out that they would not be delivered on time I tried to

I will not buy again.

I love the length and use it on everything from pancakes to scrambled eggs. My only complaint is that food sticks to it like glue. eggs especially. Not the easiest to clean. I'm also skeptical of the 500 degree usage statement. It looks like nylon. Nylon cannot withstand such high temperatures. It serves its purpose but I don't expect the durability to be very good. UPDATE 7/2016: They can't take the heat. Over time, the plastic around the edges melts and gets into the food. Despite claims…

Small but not heat resistant

I was looking for a nylon spatula less than 3 inches wide. i found this I noticed some reviews complaining about poor heat resistance. I ignored those reviews and assumed people were putting the spatula on high heat, but those folks were right. I was surprised when a tiny piece of this spatula melted after the first use. I made a grilled cheese sandwich. I then cut the sandwich in half while it was still in the pan. The burner has been switched off. As a result, a piece of spatula broke off and

Plastic melts and deteriorates.

Just received. I was excited to use them this weekend. I liked the thin shape and thought it would go well with my cast iron skillet and non-stick egg pan. I cook over medium heat and very little oil. It worked great and flipped my eggs and hash browns easily. However, upon cleaning I noticed that the leading edge had melted and gnawed away, leaving an uneven edge. Not very good quality. I do not recommend this product at all and do not recommend spending money on this product. To make matters…

Not Impressed - Review Update

I don't know if it's the heat or the little oil I use to brown overcooked potatoes, but the edges deteriorate and are less effective when put between the hot surface of the pan slip and in my case potato slices. After less than a dozen uses, I had to use a sharp knife bleach to shave off the damaged edge. I am looking for an alternative product. To update. My previous problem seems to be temperature related. When deep frying and frying potatoes and eggs, even on gas, it is difficult to keep the
