It's so easy and I find the best way to cut melons. I loved the apple slicers and when I saw this I thought it was great! Well made and easy to clean.

Undoubtedly one of the best melon slicer tools. Now if you can craft a tool to cut a melon into two pieces of almost equal size, this will be the BIGGEST MELON SLICING TOOL. PERIOD!

I have only used this slicer for large apples and it works great for that. Due to their size, the slices can easily fall out, so you don't have to pull them through like you would with a normal food slicer. Will probably be difficult to use on melons

I have used this knife for cantalopes and watermelons. If you're just cutting the bottom of a cantalope and maybe need to cut the watermelon into quarters, a melon knife will do the job just fine. It saves me time and all parts are cut perfectly. I would recommend this item to everyone.

Good idea, but not very useful. Bought this in the summer when we ate a lot of melon but ended up only using it a couple of times. If you can use a knife without hurting yourself and you have sharp knives, you definitely don't need this product.

One star, not zero! Complete nonsense. 2.5 weeks after buying a melon broke, and then 4 melons, and couldn't fix it! Throw away and throw away money! Why sell this crap?! I barely had the strength to cut through a melon I tried)! Back to the knife. I ran out of $$, I doubt I'll ever get my money back! In total. In total. Piece of shit! I love this product because it makes perfect cantaloupe slices that you can put in the fridge and take with you anytime. Here is some additional/clarifying information: 1) It's big. The cutting area (metal blades) is FULL 8" in diameter (entire device is 8.5" in diameter). 2) The blades are very sharp. Luckily, it comes with a protective plastic sleeve (which easily snaps onto the bottom). 3) The manufacturer's website recommends hand washing this product. 4) It's a little awkward to clean, but

I work in a small school kitchen and thought it would help if we cut melons and honeydew melon for a smile on the kids and it doesn't even cut through the skin.
