You will not regret buying this wonderful set!

I love these. The recipes included are excellent. Good selection of irons. I made them all. Rosette biscuits with a pinch of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar are delicious. Cups with chicken salad in them are also very good. But am I ready to branch out and explore new flavors like cheese cracker dough? Please post your favorite recipe for this incredible tool!

Great product: baking tools and accessories

Update - I was able to move the tines more so it's working now. You definitely need to press down on them hard! Good product. It turned out to be the perfect cookie cutter. It was possible to fry less but it was user error lol. Not very impressed. If you add both rosettes to one prong they will not fit properly. It should be more flexible. I've tried to move the tines as much as possible, but it's still not wide enough. Great price for a set but unfortunately you may have to use one at a time.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Working speed

I grew up with rosettes with my mother and have passed the antique set on to my daughter. . When I wanted to gift another set, I was afraid that the new set wouldn't be as good as the old one. Do not worry! This set worked great. You have to stretch the tines a bit to get the two irons a reasonable distance apart and even, but it's easy and the result is perfect.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons

Great for Kokis Sri Lankan Rice Flour

I followed the attached recipe using wheat flour and eggs but the results were disappointing. The real reason for me to buy this was to make traditional Sri Lankan kokis. You turned out great. Once you feel the temperature of the outlet it will be very easy. Does not stick. Very happy with the purchase. I preferred to use one socket at a time for better control. See attached picture of kokis made from rice flour dough, milk and egg.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Very expensive

The first time and everything went great!

I felt a little nostalgic when I ordered this. After reading reviews about how difficult it is to make sockets, I was a bit wary, but everything works fine on the first try and following the instructions. I would suggest searching the internet for highly rated recipes and finding one whose reviews say the recipe was easy and gives you the correct temperature your butter should be (a butter thermometer is crucial if you are a beginner) . Another tip: most shoppers say it's easier to use just one

  • Nice

  • Can I add something

Bunuelos/Rosettes Improvement Tips and Tricks

I love that I can cut my time in half by doing two things at once. Very cool! A few tips that will NEVER help. NEVER wash them with soap. If you wash them with soap, they stop working. Instead, dampen a rag or paper towel and dry thoroughly before first use. Then prepare them by oiling them overnight. I put them in a pan with oil that I will use the next day. Once you use them, keep the oil heated to 350F. Using a candy or meat thermometer will help measure the temperature. After using them…
