Measures 13 inches/33cm diameter. Heat up to 600F/315C. The stone distributes heat evenly to the pizza and absorbs the moisture for a lighter, crisper crust. Comes with easy-to-follow instructions and recipes. No soap please! Simply scrape any excess food off with a nylon spatula and rinse in warm water.

Works perfectly, no cracking issues

Not much to say here - it's a pizza stone and it works well. I know poorly made ones can be prone to cracking - no problem so far.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Broke on second use

I use this brick in the Big Green Egg which of course has a more direct flame potential, it was ok the first time but where it sat on fireclay bricks it wasn't as immersive Stone was 100 degrees colder than the exposed part. Tonight on the second run with the open center when the temperature rose to about 500 it broke. This is probably not the right stone for this use, but others seem to have had problems with normal use of the kiln.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Make your own healthy crispy pizza.

As a family we decided to buy and eat healthy foods and it has really changed our lives. One of our favorite things to do is to bake our own pizza. However, we don't go as far as making the dough, instead buying ready-made whole wheat pizza crusts. We then load them with fresh vegetables, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, cheese and meat. As for the stone, it's quite simple. It's just a round piece of ceramic that heats up and makes the pizza crispy. I created a special place in the closet toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design

  • Crumpled packaging

Great for such a low price

I've been using this stone 2-3 times a week for 4 months. For the $18 I spent on it, it was worth it. The crusts turn out crispier and more even (a real problem in my oven). Before I got this stone I couldn't make a Digiorno pizza as it didn't rise at all. During testing, I found that Digiornos need to preheat for at least 45 minutes. My biggest concern was that if I placed a frozen pizza on a stone preheated to 375-425 degrees it would crack. No, that's not a problem for this stone. The onlyโ€ฆ

Do not buy this pizza stone

I bought this stone after reading a book about bread by hand in 5 minutes a day and the book required a stone and bowl. Since mid-May when it arrived I've used it about 10 times successfully and yesterday it broke in half. Amazon was great at this and refunded the cost but don't let the low price tempt you like me. Unfortunately, I like to use stone and am in a bind as to which one to buy now. I will look at some of the other ones from Amazon mainly because some of the stones shown requireโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
