I have worn this jacket in snow and heavy rain and it keeps me dry. The sweatshirt can be tucked under the collar which is a nice feature. For reference, I'm 5ft 9in, 220lbs, I'm a large size and it fits perfectly.

The jacket looks very high quality and should last a long time. However, note that this winter jacket is not designed for northern climates where temperatures drop to or below zero degrees Fahrenheit. It should work well in temperatures in the 40's and 50's. Not the color I ordered Tnf-Black/Tnf-Black. The logo must be black, not white. I know Tnf is made in many Asian countries but this one says Made in China and it's the first North Face product I've bought that says it.
