arrived ruined. UPDATE: Replaced, no questions asked. 3 days have passed, the new one is healthy and happy. Works great.

Bought as a replacement as these things break easily. Decided to check on arrival. Tried to get a confession. Just sunk like a stone. Wouldn't buy again.

Wrong product. I ordered a hydrometer with 3 scales to measure specific gravity, sugar content etc. and received one with ETOH verification. I already have 2 and obviously don't need a 3. Too many problems with returns. Otherwise this is a good product.

This has been tested with distilled water and read right on the line. It includes color coding so you can tell when to move on to the next step for your chosen alcohol. It's very crisp and smooth - no bubbles stick to my outside to interfere with reading even if I rotate it just a little.

The package arrived intact on the outside but not on the inside, not broken which is odd considering it's in a Revain bag , a cardboard box, a bubble wrap and placed inside a plastic tube from a manufacturer. I don't know how, but they broke this item despite all this protection. The first item that arrived broken, now let's see how it ends. Wish me good luck.

Bought for specific gravity and works as needed. The original hydrometer sent to me turned out to be a standard Tralle/Proof hydrometer. I contacted Revain through the app and they quickly sent me another hydrometer (right) with no issues and let me keep the wrong hydrometer.

This hydrometer reads "1.00" in distilled water. In distilled alcohol it sinks like a stone. This hydrometer will NOT test to 0.76 SG. It's not even marked to read that low. This is probably a good hydrometer for liquids WARMER THAN WATER. It doesn't matter to test distilled alcohol. Also this hydrometer is not even marked for reading 0.76 SG liquids. It was never done primarily to confirm advertised claims.
