Works well as a spare

I was lucky because the radiator was leaking and I didn't have to remove it. I used a small butane gas torch. Easy to use. It took me a few tries because I didn't apply enough. I was surprised how well it worked. I wouldn't use this as a permanent solution, but it held up until I replaced the heatsink.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Uses this way more than intended

I have used this to repair an RV water tank, a filler on a water tank, a motorcycle gas cap (white plastic backed). The only problem is what I use, which is a small gas lighter style blowtorch. The truck gets damaged material enough to melt but not catch fire. I was very happy with it. I also repaired radiators. Compared to my friends, I heated the area and glued the hole without making a big lump. looked prettier. But even the globe worked too

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

It kinda works depending on your position. It's not forever

After many tries, the leak has finally stopped. I had a leak in the top left corner of the radiator. The first few tries I just heat with a propane torch and apply as directed. It holds up well, but as soon as you hit the gas it starts flowing again. After many tries I decided to remove some of the fins to get a better look at the leak. I had a leak about 2cm long and thick like a human hair. I crimped the radiator as best I could with pliers and screwdrivers to minimize the high pressure…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
