I thought they were red and white. White lightbulbs are actually transparent and emit a blue cast rather than a white cast at night.

Two years ago I bought two threads. The first strand only lasted one season, and now it turned out that the second was gone after two seasons. The white also has a blue undertone which I didn't like.

Waiting for me to decorate for Christmas only to find out 2 out of 3 didn't light up at all. I tried to contact the supplier and got no answer, I want to return but missed the point. Lesson learned!

I like that they are plastic instead of glass like my last set. The only downside I've found so far is that they start and end in red. So if you splice them end to end you will end up with two red ones next to each other where they connect.

Based on other reviews I would stay away from these bulbs and possibly this brand. Last year we bought 7 threads and this season only 4 are working. The packaging says 'durable and energy efficient'. I think they are energy efficient because they don't turn on.

I bought 14 boxes for Christmas. 2 out of 14 boxes failed after 3 weeks of use. These are LED lights. So you pay more for it. They should definitely last longer than 3 weeks. Now I have to buy 2 more boxes for next year. But how many will be released next year? This year I have two more threads. Do not buy

I have to agree with the other reviews, don't sell these. Ordered last year had to send 2 strands back immediately (aside from the long shipping time) and then take out for delivery this year and 3 strands didn't work. We pay more for LEDs so we don't have to worry, and it's almost worse than regular incandescent bulbs. Very disappointed and this year we need to replace all the bulbs so we have matching strands. :(

The manufacturer (Northlight) of these lights must be on Santa's Naughty List. I bought 6 sets of these lamps. One set did not work immediately after unpacking. Two days later, another sentence was dropped. The other set was missing a lightbulb. Very bad product, very bad quality control. The seller is great and fixed the problem immediately. However, the frustration of not having the light work and the anxiety of waiting for the other kit to fail doesn't make it worth it.
