Considering the price range this is a durable water shoe designed for our amusement park and pool applications. I wouldn't recommend them for hiking or anything, they'll probably hold a few of them, but for water boots alone I expect them to last the summer. These shoes have endured 10 weeks of daily use at summer camp and abuse from my son. We've also used them on the beach and weekend kayaking/canoeing trips. They run about half a size too big from other reviews. Anticipating growth over the summer months I ordered a half size up and they fit great with limited legroom for growing.
