Samsung 2TB 5400rpm hard drive. Arrived almost as expected except for a bent pin on the connector. I straightened the pen and installed the device in my PS4 and it works great.

This hard drive works great on my PS4. I followed the Sony documentation on how to upgrade from a PS4's 500GB hard drive to a new hard drive and this option worked great. When you finish the documentation, you will have enough space to download more content on PS4. :) I would also like to note that this hard drive has been working for me for several months without any problems. It took about 2 days to upgrade my PS4 but everything was working great and has been for a few months. No performance benefits if you're looking for an SSD.

Replaced my PS4 Pro hard drive with this one. However, it has been less than a month and it is already failing. PS4 kept crashing. I called Sony support and they told me it was a hard drive problem.

Not suitable for PS4 Disc is listed as 9.5mm high which is 0.4in. The one I received was 1 inch high. It doesn't fit PS4. It can work as an external hard drive, but that's not what I wanted and what the reviews say.

Originally I wanted to install it on my PS3. It didn't work so I connected it to my PS4 and it works great as a backup. I had to plug the hard drive into a USB hard drive box. I connected it to my PS4 which recognized and formatted the hard drive straight away. It works great. More storage space on PS4 without having to reformat the larger internal drive for PS4. win win for me
