This hard drive works great on my PS4. I followed the Sony documentation on how to upgrade from a PS4's 500GB hard drive to a new hard drive and this option worked great. When you finish the documentation, you will have enough space to download more content on PS4. :) I would also like to note that this hard drive has been working for me for several months without any problems. I know other reviews on here say things got bad after about a month. I bought it for Christmas 2016 and it is now April 8th. I know that hard drives that fail usually fail when you first get them. Maybe others had a bad ride, but personally I was pleasantly surprised. Hope that helps!
