Great towels for drying dishes

I have bought various types of kitchen towels including the Ritz, William Sonoma, Kohl's etc and nothing seemed to work for drying crystal and plastic food containers. I always used paper towels back then. I tried them because my Italian mother (90) said she used them in her father's bakery and gave them away to neighbors instead of kitchen towels. I was looking for the best quality I could buy and it is amazing. After trying a set of 4 I bought 3 more sets. They're great for drying dishes…

Pros
  • This is amazing

  • Requires an outlet

Coarse and fine: dishcloths and kitchen towels

Okay, good. The towels appear to be lined nicely, and unlike other flour bag towels, they appear to be quite square. However, they're so thin you can see through them, they're rough to the touch, and they don't absorb well. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend them nor will I buy them again. UPDATE: I originally rated these towels 2 stars. I voted positively because I like the rather rough fabric of these towels. It really helps dry hands quickly. And over time, absorption improved. So…

Absorbent, durable, perfect!

I love these towels. My dishwasher just died and I'm washing/drying dishes like crazy. They were absorbent for me, at least shortly before the first wash. No additives to prevent ingestion of flour as I have found with other flour sack purchases I have made from Revain. I carry one over my shoulder when cooking to use as an oven mitt or to fix an accidental leak. I dry dishes for her. Cover the rising dough with it. Instead of wasting a roll of paper towels during a cooking marathon, I instead…

Linen towels made from flour: kitchen and table linen

These are the towels I was looking for. They don't look like microfiber towels at all, which I don't like at all because these towels are too heavy and too abrasive for what I need. I bought these because I have very curly hair and need a towel that isn't heavy and absorbent like a paper towel (for the duration of the curl after the shower). They double as kitchen towels too but are extra sized for that purpose if you're like me and a bit picky about things like that lol Pros: Absorbent but not

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Very happy! The best in kitchen and dining

I don't know why anyone would use any other kitchen towels. These terry cloth kitchen towels are nothing compared to what flour sack towels can do in the kitchen. And these hold up pretty well in the dryer, unlike some other flour bag towels, so I can fold them into a pretty square. You're just fat enough; Good quality. They don't shed - they don't interfere with my glasses. They are super absorbent. They save on paper towels because I use them to dry my hands, dishes and vegetables. They are…

It is very difficult to find a good authentic flour handkerchief

It is very difficult to find a good authentic flour handkerchief. I thought I found it. I ordered some of these for myself for Christmas. I liked them so much that I decided to give them to my daughter and daughters-in-law for Mother's Day. I wanted EXACTLY the same thing. From Revane's description, they were exactly the same. I even checked my previous order to make sure I ordered the same ones. They were NOT exactly the same. I compared them then and now and what a difference. This really…

Fancy Tea Towels

I bought these thinking they would replace my old, frayed "pretty" tea towels that I hang around the kitchen. Now I understand that they are not for it. Sure, they're great for drying hands, but they're not pretty enough to throw away, and they're a lot bigger than a regular kitchen towel. But I've found that the large size is so good for things that I've used small kitchen towels or even paper towels for it. They are excellent for this: for stroking dry meat or fish after washing, as well as…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
