I'm tired of throwing away Christmas fairy lights because half the filament didn't burn, so I spent extra money on these LEDs to replace the 5 filaments of the incandescent bulbs I bought this year threw away . The soft white goes really well with the old transparent ones. If they actually last longer and half of them don't fail, it might be worth it. I'll just have to wait and see if the energy savings and replacement costs justify converting the others.

We love these lights. There are two strands to improving the existing year round white light in our backcountry - sketching some things and weaving in some trees too! But the effect was sooooo stylish and vibrant yet delicate that my husband went outside the next day and used both instead of just using one. They worked great with existing strands. And while there was slight variation from icy white to slightly yellowish, we feel it adds depth. Ooooo happy!

Lamps arrived quickly and work as advertised. Each string consists of 3 segments (made of 33 bulbs) with a small plastic lip between the segments and you can splice multiple strings together. I bought 3 kits for a 7 1/2 foot tall tree and was able to tuck the wires into the branches a bit to hide the wires and give a nice random look. They are well made and should last for many years. LED lamps do not fail, but the wiring can. They seem to have heavy, well-insulated cables that should be solid. I attached them to the back of the house siding with NM staples. Only the light bulbs protrude below the bottom of the circuit board, so that they are hardly visible from the outside when switched off. I plan on keeping them on all year round and only need to turn them on during the Christmas period instead of having to charge them…

Exactly what I was looking for. Good long lasting warm light and reasonable price. It's great that you can connect several sets together. What I don't like about these lanterns is that the cord is twisted straight out of the box and I had to spend ten minutes unwinding it (if you've ever struggled with gardening). hose, unwind it, imagine it's 10 times worse).
