The screw holes were misaligned which led to a lot of cursing and creative metalwork. I was close to giving up on him more than once, but I got through it. Now that he is together the cat sometimes likes it and he keeps all her 15 pounds.

I bought 1, wasn't sure if they would like it, put it on after we assembled it and 1 of them jumped went in straight away and went to sleep I have 3 cats so I bought another one and I can honestly say when it's rest time they are both busy for hours. It was a hit with my fluffy babies! Excellent purchase!

Finally! A hammock bed that really suits her fat ass! She weighs 23 pounds and loves the tiny cat hammocks on the cat towers, but they are too small. She jumped in as soon as I was done with it and refused to pass it on to my other kitties. Assembly only took about 15 minutes. Looks easy enough to clean up with a spray and paper towel.

The hammock mounting ring is difficult to assemble. I had to use a rubber mallet to pry together enough to line up the holes with the legs. After that the bolts were too short so I used a clamp so enough threads were visible to start unscrewing the nuts. After starting no problems from there. I bought it for a cat but the other cat loves it.

I had it a few days ago and I really like it. I was afraid she wouldn't accept it, but she didn't move a bit. It's not as soft as you'd like, but you can always throw a blanket on it. It seems easy to clean, but you have to take it apart to toss the mesh in the wash. It was easy to put together despite the lack of information in the instructions, but it was pretty clear. I love it and recommend it.

Absolutely not recommended. The assembly went well. It is not very durable (see photo). The piece of metal assembled as a ring (to which the fabric is attached) cannot be glued properly because if glued properly, the screws will not fit. It has to be assembled in a small amount to fit the screws and when my cat finally tried it gave up a bit and startled him. It's smaller, so it's not the weight, it's the poor construction. Now he avoids the bed at all costs. All in all - waste of money!

Overall this is a good solid hammock bed. My cat definitely loves it. Although I have a feeling she's not very comfortable in it when she's in it for a long time because she's all curled up. She likes to lie on the floor and stretch her legs out a lot when she sleeps, but she also likes a hammock bed, so I'll invest in a flat/horizontal bed and see which one suits her needs best and she likes.
