Small size and good assembly

Beautiful appearance, good assembly, good performance. Using on Baofeng RD-5R with large hotspot works great in a 3 acre area.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Suitable

Poor performance of audio and video accessories

I compared the signal strength to the antenna that came with my HT and it was much lower. If you really need that loop, sacrifice signal strength.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Bought 2, an inferior thread

1 bad thread of 2. There was a decent price for 2 pieces but if one is not threaded correctly then it gets expensive. Stay away from poor Chinese workmanship.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great little antenna.

Ideal for short distance communication. I would recommend low power when using. Having taken one of them apart and seen how it works, I can imagine that anything beyond low power would be disastrous for the radio.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

Do your homework (unlike me!)

First off, even the part number is a copy of the Diamond with the same part number. This would make the item a fake, despite claims that they are "genuine NSKI antennas". I didn't find out about it until later, and there's a post where an observant user disassembled this device and found that the quality was slightly lower than its namesake. it said. This device performs adequately for a low profile antenna. I have no idea if a "real diamond" would work better, but if I had known it was a…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Damaged

Ideal to carry in your pocket.

I already like this antenna because it's not annoying despite its small size! It makes a great "top antenna" for a compact radio so you can pocket it like I did with my UV-5R when I'm on the go. It mates perfectly with the base of the UV-5R antenna, and surprisingly, transmitting and receiving isn't a simple dummy load like some standard antennas! On 888's it fits this reel very well and while on 888's it's snug and snug you'll have to pull it a little tighter until it's difficult to get off…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Everything's great

Pros
  • NSKI's original SRH805s whip antenna allows you to extend the range of a portable radio such as the BaoFeng UV-5R radio. This antenna delivers a 2.15/3.0 dBi signal up to 10 watts. Its length is only 5 cm and its weight is 20 grams.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Although this product is imprinted with the Diamond name, .

Although this product is marked Diamond, it is clearly not a Diamond antenna. I have the same model in SMA-M for Yaesu VX series and it works fine. This antenna is much lighter than the real Diamond counterpart. The outer shell feels cheap and has a spot where it has been demolded. I didn't have promising results when sending or receiving. Perhaps this is normal for a simplex around a Humfest, but long-distance transmission to a repeater is out of the question.

Pros
  • Band: Dual Band VHF/UHF
Cons
  • Very Expensive
