This wire was a major letdown for my industrial electrical needs. The quality was subpar and the insulation easily frayed. Though it did have the convenient feature of being stranded, that was not enough to make up for the overall lack of durability. I would not recommend this product to anyone in the Industrial and Scientific field.

This is 24 AWG wire. It is grey. Nothing more to say? It untangles fairly easily so I had to drill a hole in the spool to secure the wire between uses (hence 4 stars instead of 5). A notch in the plastic, like on spools of thread, would be a good way to fix this.

This is a small spool of 25 feet of #24 AWG stranded jumper wire. Rated insulation voltage 300V. The amperage rating of the #24 AWG wire used in the chassis is 3.5A, so keep these values in mind when deciding which wire to use for your project. Pros: Convenient and inexpensive reel for small projects. good quality. A 25ft upgrade can be used - it's not that big a roll - a 50ft roll would be better.
