Deep groove geometry for high speeds. Single row for supporting radial loads. Steel cage evenly spaces balls for reduced friction, vibration and noise. Type of review

Ordered to replace arbor bearings on a 1949 Atlas table saw. Fixed my issues and works very smoothly now. Using sealed/shielded permanently greased bearings is much better for this dusty application. Time will tell if they hold up, but for now they're a lot better than the 50 year old stocks that were out there.

Pros
  • C3 radial clearance allows for thermal expansion at continuous operating temperatures up to 120°C/248°F
Cons
  • High price

What tolerance? .Will not fit AO Smith / Genteq Eon fan motors

I bought these to rebuild a failed AO Smith 3/4hp fan motor in my oven. The motor shaft is 1/2" and the bearing is easy to fit, but after just a day of use I found that the bearing was completely loose on the shaft and could be moved back and forth by hand! Just for comparison, I later replaced the bearings from another AO Smith motor and they have held on the shaft without any problems ever since. The diameter of the AO Smith shaft is approximately 0.4992.4997", better than that I can measure.

Pros
  • Single row to support radial loads
Cons
  • I'll write later
