I'm an occupational therapist and I have osteoarthritis. I've been using paraffin wax on both hands for 6 months. I found this wonderful product. Its viscosity is higher than that of other paraffins. I've noticed that my hands stay warm longer. To be honest I have less pain in both hands after swapping out the paraffin for this one. Nobody paid me to review this product. The price was very good and the shipping was very fast, but the product description did NOT say that it was antibacterial. One might think that if we order unscented clothing then triclosan is not needed. Not the end of the world, but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known there was something in it.

Completely disappointed in my purchase. The description says 6 pounds of wax (6 pounds of a pound), the entire batch, including box and packing material, was just over 5 pounds (5.1). So I weighed each bar separately, see attached picture (12.5 oz each). For reference, 16 oz. equals one pound. It actually makes 75 ounces of wax, not 96 ounces as advertised. I received 6 blocks of wax, casually packaged, weighing: 13.6 oz, 14.4 oz, 13.3 oz. 13.5 ounces, 12.9 ounces. and 14.2 oz. Only 5 pounds 2.1 ounces on my postal scale. Of course there is no quality control. Not only was each block a different weight, but all the advertised weights under 1 pound were different sized blocks, full of air bubbles and covered in little flakes of wax that fell off and flew all over the place.
