Doesn't work in kitchen and dining room

I ordered this appliance to replace another brand that broke. Today I tried to pack 15 packages. The first seal failed on about half of them and I couldn't complete the vacuum seal. Close inspection reveals a blister/fail in the seal. In addition, the product is unstable and tends to tip over when the lid is lifted. Can't recommend, will look for a replacement.

I am very satisfied with this food vacuum sealer

I am very satisfied with this food vacuum sealer. Our other food sealer broke but I hated this thing (obviously a different brand). It was bulky, noisy and difficult to use. This Nutrichef pkvs18 is sleek, stylish and easy to use. No more trying to seal the package multiple times. It worked flawlessly and I actually tested it on about 60 pounds of meat right away. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product.

Love it!: Kitchen & Dining

I love it! Vacuumed some stuff this morning and it's very smooth and easy. I like to buy meat in bulk, divide it into portions and vacuum pack it. It's also good to vacuum pack leftovers for the freezer. I made half of the Akakdo four days ago and it still looks like I opened it the first day! Quiet, unlike some others I've had. A word of caution. At first I thought it wasn't working, but that was because you have to snap the two front corners properly. Also, I don't like the bags you can buy…

So easy to use and works flawlessly!

I have never owned a vacuum sealer. Looking at them at Costco, I realized they were always too expensive to pull the trigger. I recently bought a sous vide machine and it is too difficult to deflate the ziplock bags to use the machine properly. I decided it was finally time to buy one of these cars!
