When I received the product we immediately used it to defrost chicken. Really works! And we fried the chicken. It came out crispy and not greasy. The chicken inside was fried really well and smooth. some on the internet. I highly recommend this product. I give 5 stars.

Opening the box made me feel cheap and that should have been a warning. The device does not have a convection heater with a fan as advertised. The heating element was fine. The head is made from a cheap plastic case and the foldable lifting hook is the problem I think. It's weak and doesn't turn on properly to turn on the heating, even in the down position and with the clock ticking. Would definitely not recommend this device.

Very easy to set up and use. The glass jar seems a lot bigger than a lot of fryers I've seen, which is great because I think it can cook a lot more than most of its competitors. I've cooked breaded salmon sticks in it and they cooked very evenly (the recipe even said to flip them halfway through, but I tried and the fish fell apart so I gave up on that plan and they still tasted great fried evenly). I've had great luck with one of these items. Often used to cook bacon, whole chickens, steaks, baked potatoes, etc. But it only lasted 9 months. I got the exact same model to replace and have used it maybe twice and the unit has stopped working.
