It's better than it looks in the picture.

to put in the bathroom where there was no outlet. Lamps with sockets are hard to find! I was concerned because in the photo the socket appears to be buried under the glass. I figured I'd just drill a new hole to mount the lamp a little higher on the plate. I did not have to. The socket cleans the glass easily. In the photo, the glass is inserted in the wrong hole. The metal is thicker than some similar jigs I've seen and doesn't flex when you try to tighten everything. Everything is includedโ€ฆ

Disappointed - missing parts and no instructions

This product was purchased to illuminate the vanity above our vintage pink sink. The cover is beautiful and I would love to put it in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the box that was delivered to me did not contain all the parts, so there is no way to attach the base to the wall, it is impossible to attach the beautiful glass shade to the lamp and there is no top part to hold the lampshade to keep from falling. . Also not included are instructions, parts lists, or manufacturer information forโ€ฆ

Lamp glare on the sides

My bathroom is the size of a walk-in closet. Sure, regular-sized bathrooms might not be as annoying as I am. Lamp, mirror, washbasin at the long end of the wall, on the side of the entrance. Of course, this device looks good from the front. But this thing sticks out 5.5 inches and is not closed. I step inside and all I see is an open lightbulb with no proper cover. I had to unscrew the bulbs on the sides to reduce the glare. The glare is very annoying, looks bad, who needs an open lightbulb onโ€ฆ

Great retro light, great value for money, customer service

I bought two of these lights to replace the disgusting lights in an old house I just bought. I'm working on bringing the house back to a mid-century look and it really helped in both bathrooms. A super cute and inexpensive fix for those ugly chrome strips that the previous owner put in. I would also like to commend the seller for their excellent customer service: I had a problem when my package was delivered but it was nowhere to be found. I contacted the seller and they immediately got to work

It requires some assembly like its American counterparts

Nuvo SF77/088 U Channel Glass, 4 Light This fixture is made in China but conforms to US standards. It requires some assembly like its American counterparts, but the dual lamp sockets are screwed rather than riveted. In this way, the lamp holder can be "repaired" if necessary. Originally designed for 4 60W 120V incandescent bulbs, this fixture will work with fluorescent or LED bulbs that use a standard medium Edison base. It must be installed where the wall switch is used to turn on and off this

Hook up an electric razor to a light

I'm renovating half a bathroom and my wife and I decided to do something retro with real linoleum, a recessed medicine cabinet, this lamp and some old art the walls are sinking under other things on a pedestal etc. This lamp fits in perfectly with our retro theme. We chose a lamp with 4 bulbs and a socket. It mounts to the wall just above the built in first aid kit - old school! What makes this lamp really retro is of course the socket. There's something special about plugging an electric razor

Perfect for your modest mid-century home

We were renovating our 1950's blue bathroom to its original vintage look and needed new lighting. Much of the new "retro" lighting is actually too whimsical, too elegant, too modern for a true 1950's bathroom, and of course, too expensive. I found this light fixture in Retro Renovation's pink bathroom remodel article and it's just what we needed. We bought two faucets for our large double vanity. They give a lot of light. We had to use CFL bulbs because many incandescent bulbs gave off a lot of

So easy! I made it myself for the first time! love my pink bathtub

I installed it myself (female 5ft 6in) and it was my first easy install! I did it (while my husband was out of town, no less). Like others (seems to be a popular theme) I have a fabulous retro pink bathroom that I just love! The previous owners installed a modern fixture that didn't work Doesn't look great with the original pink theme. This new faucet is very similar to our original hallway bath faucet, so it seems very befitting the late 1950's. The price was amazing. I didn't need any special
