They are well made and very easy to hook up compared to fitting a different type of light for my track lighting. I also think the inline switch is a good idea. You can turn off the light before turning it off to avoid sparking on the rail contacts.

I've checked and spoken to numerous electricians everywhere about hanging pendant lights from tracks and no one has suggested these adapters. It wasn't until I went online that I found them. They are simple and easy to install. Perfect for what I wanted. We didn't need poles with separate hanging plates as there were more cable options.

Made some pendant lights for my existing track lighting. I've read that they don't fit quite right, so I wasn't surprised they didn't screw straight in. I used a digital caliper to measure the different sizes of the old and new fittings and then bent them slightly to fit. I made six lights total so after a few it was pretty easy.

I was a little hesitant to buy them because they look flimsy in the picture, but I was very satisfied. Bought these to install some pendant lights on an existing walkway. You have enough space inside to make cable connections easily and securely with the supplied cable nuts. There is a small set screw to hold the cord and I would say they are strong enough to hold a few pounds - enough for a pendant light but nothing too heavy or complicated.

It would be nice if instructions were included, but I was able to find enough info via google. That being said, the adapters worked great to adapt some pendants to my H-shaped kitchen lighting. These adapters don't come with instructions, but it's easy to understand if you've worked with electrical cords or lamps before. They put together quite well, but I was disappointed when trying to hang a lantern on my H-rail. The spacing between the pins on the top of the adapter was negligible. (like half a mm). Ordered these adapters to convert 2 pendant lights. All necessary details are included. These adapters only come in a box with no instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out.
