NWS 138 69 200 Fantastico Heavy Cutter Review

I bought these to replace my Irwin dams which I blew on a gravel walk on a 4" tall hat. It's literally the same instrument, aesthetics aside, but the Irwins are twice the price for some reason. Highly recommended for electrical work, 11/10. Much better than Klein or Milwaukee side cutters for my job.

Like the cutting ability, I don't like that the jaws don't open very wide (MC is difficult to cut) and that they are made for right-handers (the right handle is a lever handle). Overall great build quality but I probably won't buy again. However, an unwelcome nod to NWS/Irwin tongs.

Don't waste your money on this. They were amazing for about two and a half months and then started to flake off. Here is the seller's response. "Looks worn, they aren't broken or anything, they can still cut." In a few months, the side cutters never wore out. It would be nice if the seller could help. Don't buy from Idan Tools, they are very useless.

While I'm sure it's a powerful clipper, I'm not impressed with the build quality. Perhaps I'm spoiled by my Knipex tools which are generally superb in build quality (there are rare exceptions) but these Fantastico bits are poorly made, the design looks interesting which is why I ordered them. Time will tell if I'm wrong.

I've been wondering for a long time whether these relatively expensive pliers are worth it. I was wondering if they were being bought because of the hype about German tools like Festool. But I can honestly say they are worth it. I cut the steel cables and they didn't twitch. Advantages: Very low cutting resistance compared to other cutting devices. Open jaws make you want all your other expensive pliers

Great product, well made, you will be surprised how much extra leverage you get. The fit and finish are very similar to Knipex, but they have nasty "fx3", "piano", "+50%" markings. But that doesn't detract from the excellent tool. Feels good in the hand, but. Pins because I didn't like how they rubbed my ring finger when I opened the pliers again for another cut. If you use this tool on scaffolding, please for God's sake don't cut off the anchor points.

These things are good! After use and abuse, they still cut a sheet of paper more accurately than fresh scissors. They cut nails, screws, wire, sheet metal and don't dull at all. I've used it as a base to hit things in hard to reach places and as a hammer myself when I dropped my hammer 30 feet and didn't want to grab it. I dropped this 40 feet onto reinforced concrete and only the concrete was damaged. I've cut 1/4 inch steel cable at the tip of these dozens of times and the ends were as out of
