Description of 🔗 SGT KNOTS Nylon Webbing: Versatile, Heavy Duty Flat Rope for Crafting, Marine Use, and More - 1" x 5yds, Black

HEAVY NYLON STRAP - Our all-purpose flat nylon webbing is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, when a high tensile strength and synthetic durability are desired. Commercial strength strapping can be used as crafting material for seat belts, dog collars, belts, backpacks, sling bags, and more. Perfect to have on the job site for cargo straps and tie-downs. INDUSTRIAL RESISTANCE - Nylon is one of the strongest and most popular materials on the market for ropes, cords, and twines. These smooth synthetic fibers are highly resistant to moisture, temperature, chemicals, UV rays, abrasions, and most weather. Flexible with a slight stretch to provide an excellent shock absorption for package and cargo transport. VERSATILE PERFORMANCE - From fishing boats to construction sites, the nylon fibers provide the durability and strength needed to perform in even the toughest outdoor conditions. The flat rope can slide easily in between, under, and through tight spaces. Our heavy duty webbing can be used just like your typical rope and perform even better when balance and weight distribution against a surface are required. LENGTH and WIDTH - Choose between pre-cut lengths 1 yard, 5 yards, 10 yards, 20 yards, or 50 yards. SGT KNOTS Flat Nylon Webbing diameter thickness options: 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1.5 inch, or 2 inches. Quality product in webbing

I used old webbing from boat covers for bimini straps. I was lucky enough to get 6 months of them before the sun took its toll and they fell apart. After running out of old strapping, I researched what was available and settled on this product. I immediately realized that this line was 20% thicker and felt much stronger yet more durable. I have replaced all of the straps on my bimini and am hoping this strapping material will last. To put it mildly, I am very happy with this purchase.

Very good webbing - webbing

I am very happy with this webbing material. It's incredibly strong, soft and smooth, and has enough stiffness to fit buckles and the like. It is very regular and uniform in thickness and shape and has no protruding fibers. The cut ends are well and quickly fused with a lighter. It doesn't attempt to catch fire or emit much smoke. I use it with these turnbuckles and they close tight. I can't pull it in the direction you want to hold it. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TP19BW/ref=oh_aui_de…

Perfect for a custom made belt

Just what I wanted to make myself a strong nylon webbing. Not thin like straps and not too heavy. As it turns out, the 36 inch length is perfect for me and already burned on both ends. If you need to cut your webbing and want a nice clean burn edge, I suggest taking it to an outdoor store that sells climbing ropes (like REI) - if you don't have the gear yourself. Yes, you can cut with scissors and then burn with a lighter, but the results will never be as good. Sometimes it doesn't matter, but…
