Shoes for friends in a discount store.

I had high hopes for such a famous brand. However, as soon as I opened the box I decided to return it. They looked and felt cheap. They are certainly light, but NOT comfortable! It feels like walking with a piece of cardboard on your feet. Don't waste your time placing an order just to print a return label and mail it back.

It hurts to wear! Best in hiking and trekking

I am very disappointed in these boots. They looked great and felt like sturdy boots until I put them on. Worst pain I have ever had with boots, heel counter is about 1/2-3/4 inch to briefly rub both backs of my heels, raw for an 8 hour shift, very narrow in toe when wide have feet, don't buy these shoes. The top half of the boot is very fragile and sounds like a thick plastic tarp wrapped around the foot.

  • Large selection
Cons
  • Thin

Great boot! Outdoor

I have been wearing Nike boots (which I have worn for 2 years without knocking Nike) and this caused my feet to hurt after being on stage for a while. I have tried different brands and this is the best I have ever worn. I like the thin upper, yes not much ankle support but I like the flexibility. No flash, but that doesn't bother me. I changed the insoles, can't comment on that, but for the price it's great!

Pros
  • Good physique
Cons
  • No insurance

Unfortunately disappointed best in shoes

cracked sole after 2.5 months of light wear! I really don't recommend it. I take LEO training and have been using them for a limited time (I bought them as a second pair). When you first wear them, they are light, comfortable and easy to shine. Unfortunately disappointed with the quality, especially for an Oakley product and the price!

So far it looks and feels great.

The product arrived on time as described. First impressions are that these are well tailored boots like some other Oakley boots that I have owned for a long time. When Oakley says "Lite Patrol Boot," they mean business. The boot is not designed for heavy use. It's geared more toward fall and spring, maybe even 70-degree summer weather. LITE also describes the use you should put it through. These are not army boots. Don't expect them to be durable.

  • I keep my fingers crossed
Cons

Amazing boot. for shoes

This boot is amazing. I have them in leather and brown. Everyone is carried at work. A career as a firefighter and paramedic for those boots to be WORN! Lightweight and breathable with the feel of a running shoe but with boot support. I encounter a variety of 'liquids' at work and wipe these boots down with everything from Cavi wipes to bleach to Dawn. No breakdown by material and color.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great light boots!

This will be my third pair of lightweight Oakley SI Storm Boots! The first pair was black fabric for the soldiers, the second was coyote-colored fabric for the military, and these were for the soldiers. I've taken my military outdoors quite a bit and they hold up great. Has been like this for 3 years now. The boots are very light but I can fly choppers in them, kick in doors and even follow people on foot with full gear/cargo/service gear.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Stay away from Oakley boots!

These are the worst boots ever! Oakley makes great sunglasses, apparel and other gear. You must stay away from the boots! In my 21 years in LE I have switched 5 pairs of Danner Acadias, 4 pairs of Under Armor Valsetz, 1 pair of Under Armor Valdez 2.0 and a few others that I don't remember. These Oakley shoes give the impression that the midsole and outsole are made of cardboard, with no padding. The upper feels like thick paper and makes a funny rustling sound as you walk. At least it works for me!

To be honest I was hesitant to buy these because of the mixed reviews. But I decided to just take it easy and make the purchase and I wasn't disappointed. The only downside is that the ankle support isn't that good, but I found a way around this by wrapping the laces around the ankle a few times before tying them up and it works well. I've seen most of the bad reviews saying they're falling apart and I've been using them 5-6 days a week for the past 3 months and have had no signs of wear. I'mโ€ฆ

Great so far. best in shoes

So far I like these boots. I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews that they sound like cheap paper or something, but that goes away after a day or two of wear. Before that I had a pair of Nike boots which I wore for almost 2 years and they have worked well in law enforcement and so far the Oakley boots have met my expectations. I had a hard time deciding between another pair of Nikes or Oakleys as I've had a pair of each in the past. They fit as expected and are very comfortable. The
