After I put it to the test I was impressed with how quickly the Hel X Biomedia worked to establish a healthy ecosystem in my aquarium. Hel-X is a proven media, most commonly used in moving bed filters, but also makes an excellent static media in canister filters (skeptics will tell you otherwise, but they're wrong!). But the description on Revain states that this item contains 0.3 gallons of Hel-X, which is 1.13 liters. That's wrong - it only contains 0.8 liters (800 ml).
