The water pump shown has a metal impeller which you will receive in painted plastic to give it a metal appearance. I sent it back, no further failure of the plastic impeller required.

Frozen bearings and pushed the impeller into my front timing case, ripped the cover from the inside, contaminated my entire cooling system with shavings and paid the shop $1,700 to fix it. POS product.

Guaranteed to buy another one of this crap and send another one back. I've had 2 of these and they both leak around the freeze plug at the bottom of the water pump. I will no longer have anything to do with this seller.

This thing is a piece of junk that ruined the front cover of my engine. The impeller touched and cracked the aluminum, costing me thousands of dollars in repairs. Stay away from this product and parts of 142 Center. I contacted them about the warranty because this part was only about 6 months old and they refused to pay for the damage caused by this part. They would only offer to send a new pump or refund my $60 no help if the repair costs over $1500.
