OBrien Super Screamer Person Towable Review

Used item was described as 'like new' by Revain Warehouse but arrived with a melted air filler hole rendering the item unusable. I'm a big fan of Revain, but of course that point has been scrapped.

Used it every weekend for 2 months - kids love this - Live ride (more than our other one) for 2 riders and grabs some air but isn't as crazy as it's unbearable - giving the boater complete control over how smooth the ride will be. I would buy again.

Hose deflates 24 hours after filling. The same thing happened with the last one. I'll take care of the pipes. I've covered it with soap and water and can't find any leaks. We had the last one for 1 summer and there were tons of hole sized leaks in the inner tube. I tried patching them but it didn't work.

We've had Super Screamers for years and generally love them. However, these new ones have a different valve and don't come with an adapter like the older models. Thank God, like MacGyver and Jerry, I installed the adapter or we wouldn't be able to use it this weekend as I would have to order the adapter for $10 and wait for it to arrive.

rolled it around the lake with two kids for a few hours. everything seems to be holding up well, just remember to tighten the top of the screw on the inflation valve; You don't have to crank it (it's just plastic, after all), but a check valve alone can't hold the pressure. Make sure you have an air compressor to inflate. If you think you're going to blow it up with your hand, you either have too much free time or you believe in yourself too much.

This is our second Super Screamer. The first eventually wears out after several years of operation. I like everything except the brand new valve. An adapter will need to be purchased if you are using a standard hand pump and it doesn't hold air as well as the old design when filling. Seven, although the airflow is theoretically greater, you're limited by the speed of your pump, and you spend a lot of time fiddling with the valve. We could inflate the old one much faster!

We have a Malibu Wakesetter. We are serious clubs, we call it extreme pipes, two pipes go at the same time and two people on each pipe, they jump from one pipe to another etc. These pipes are extremely durable. But with that said, we're getting a year or two of tube usage. Be careful not to leave a fully inflated tube in direct sunlight for too long, as heat will expand the air and over-inflate the tube. This tube is a good size for two people and is easier to use than the three person tube we had before but there are two problems. First, we offset the inner shell and outer shell from each other so that the inflation valve is almost unreachable from the Velcro cover on the outer shell (see fix).
