Oceanstar Storage Laundry Hamper in White: Ideal for Organizing and Storing Laundry Review

I WOULD RATE THIS ZERO IF I COULD. The cam bolts will NOT stay tight, keep loosening. When I opened the box you could smell the paint used to paint the basket, it's strong and doesn't fade. The color comes off easily. The wood used is strong but the fasteners are of poor quality. Luckily I was able to return the item for money. Don't waste your time and money, nice but not reliable.

This item smelled really bad like fresh paint but I wanted to leave it anyway as I thought the smell would go away after airing. I assembled it to the last detail pretty easily, the front was supposed to have a notch for the bottom, but it didn't! Since there was no cut out on the front, the front couldn't sit flush with the rest of the pieces, I don't see how production could have missed that! Obviously, where this happens, there is no quality control!

I wanted it to look more like a piece of furniture than a basket. Mine stays in the bathroom and I use the hamper to take the laundry to the car so it doesn't get scratched. Too much movement and I think the boards will come loose, also it becomes too heavy/bulky to carry around. At the bottom of one I have a plastic container for wet rags so they don't ruin the floor.
