At first the color looks like blue stripes with a dark red stripe. This stripe is actually brown. Not attractive. The towel has a decent weight, but no absorbency. You can also use plastic wrap to dry. Haven't tested it in sand yet, but imagine it should throw sand well.

This has many uses and applications but it is not a "towel" as most people think of a towel. If you search "towel" you will probably be as disappointed as I was. However, I will keep it for beach trips and camping trips and put it under my feet when I trim my toenails. The color and design aren't very aesthetic either, but the utility of the smooth and cool polyester blend has its merits.

To be honest I sent it back because it's microfiber it's not towel material I should have read that when I opened it I thought I accidentally received a flag because it's the texture of a Microfiber cloth is, I know there's nothing wrong with that, but I didn't know that. I just assumed it was the texture of the towel and not the texture of the flag, I give credit to the large microfiber flag and of course it will be easy to pack. I don't know about the absorbency but it's not what I expected…

This is the perfect beach towel. It's long enough to fit the vast majority of adults and still has room left. He is almost 6 feet tall. So if you want to dry your whole body at once this is perfect for that lol. He's also very soft. Many beach towels can feel hard and dry after sun exposure, but because they're made of microfiber, they still feel just as soft and silky. The carry case is also very good, I didn't know it came with it as it's not mentioned in the title but it holds the huge towel

This towel is unlike any other towel I have ever used. It's thin and made of a unique material, very different from the terry beach towels we're used to.
