Run at low speed for about 4 minutes before throwing the shaft. It will work, but it will make a pretty unhealthy noise with every spin. For a fan of this size, it moves almost no air. The screw must be removed to switch the oscillation on and off. The traction chain, on the other hand, works perfectly. Avoid.

I didn't like anything about this bunch of details. This cargo looked as if it would be grabbed by a three-year-old child. The motor was packed separately in this box, with small nuts and bolts turning on the bottom. The drive chain had broken inside the engine. n No wonder the parts were broken.

The first fan I received was so badly damaged by improper motor packaging that everything else in the box was bent. The replacement I received was in excellent condition and I was able to fit it in my garage with ease. It has been 6 weeks since I work in a garage and when I turn the fan off for the first time the pull cord in the motor housing snaps and now there is no way to turn the fan on or off. Fairly powerful fan. Much better than a cheap fan with plastic blades, which is quiet but hardly blows any air. I've spent money on a few of these cheap ones that break and if they get a little dust they won't blow. They are powerful with aluminum or steel blades and well worth the extra money, decently loud for their size (expected and no louder than I thought).
