difficult conditions. Paper guide rotates down but won't slide out

I bought this in addition to a simpler punch that uses fewer sheets and has a non-removable paper guide. My main goal was to punch sheets of legal paper to fit a standard 3 ring binder. I was hoping that the paper guide on this machine could slide out to accommodate different sizes of paper. However, this was not possible. It can only be rejected, ie off. I can still get the job done, but only if I have a legal-size binder next to me to properly center the holes on the paper.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

I bought this to bring to the workshop. I found that preparing documents was easy and I quickly made holes. The chip tray holds many chips. It works with 20 pages of standard office paper. It was easier to get through when it was only about 15 pages. Someone else thought it was so cool that they took it home when I wasn't paying attention. Although I was disappointed I wasn't heartbroken because it's a good price. I'll probably replace it with the same one next time I have to give a seminar.

Pros
  • is also understandable for the old
Cons
  • Style 90

May have used to be 5 stars but no longer

I ordered this drill in March 2018 for $15.68 after seeing all the 5 star reviews. Maybe they changed the factory that makes them, or maybe someone at the factory is cutting off the corners because that punch was awful! The description for the Revain said it would work with 20 sheets of 20lb paper. I could only "press" 20 sheets. I was able to get it to 10 sheets of 20 pounds, but only with more muscle and some serious torque than I did. (By the way, I'm a 250 lb, 6ft 1in tall male in pretty…

Exactly what I was looking for!

This is a great 3 hole punch! After many years of faithful service, my old hammer drill finally gave up its last breath. I was looking for a replacement that was fairly strong (steel, not plastic), had multi-sided perforations (about 10-12 pages), and had holes that left plenty of headroom (so they wouldn't tear as easily as those hole punches that have holes about 1 /8 inches from the edge of the paper), comfortable on the wrist (it doesn't take Herculean force to punch 4 sheets at a time)…

  • Paper and Paper Crafts

  • I will add later

IS WHAT YOU WANT! Sturdy METAL that lasts forever!

I bought this 3 hole punch in 2014 after getting tired of playing around with our old squeaky punch that could barely punch a hole. I didn't just want an old 3 hole punch. I wanted something solid metal that would last another three decades, like my last hammer drill, which I'm sure my dad used in college. I chose this 3 year old Officemate and boy am I glad I did. First off, I'm a homeschooler, so my paper die cutting needs are HUGE. Everything my son does goes into his portfolio. Also on sick
